Frankenmuth, Round 1

What a wonderful weekend!  We spent Saturday in Frankenmuth and had a fabulous day.  We did some shopping, ate yummy sweets, and enjoyed the sunshine.

I have been to Frankenmuth many times, but I have never spent the entire day wandering in and out of all the stores.  There are so many fun things going on and I loved moving at our own pace and not once looking at the clock.  It felt like we were away on vacation and I loved it.

I highly recommend visiting Frankenmuth, and taking time to enjoy all the city has to offer.  Check here for a complete list of things to do in Frankenmuth.

There are lots of shops where you can try homemade cheese, sausage, and fudge and restaurants where you can dine on authentic chicken dinners.
Here they are pouring the fudge, and below cutting it after it has been cooled.  Oh my goodness, these little fudge shops all smelled SO delicious.

This cute little country store had aisles filled with candy in baskets and these great colorful teapots- I would so love to have one of each color.
