We decided to skip over the chicken dinner and have dinner at The Frankenmuth Brewery. We had a great view of the river, the food (and beer) was delicious, service was great, and I loved the dark wood and historic look of the restaurant.
We also stopped at the Lager Mill. They aren't open for tours yet, but we were informed they are in the process of getting antiques together and will hopefully be open for tours in in a few months. All of these beers are produced from microbreweries in Michigan. They all had awesome names and labels that had to do with Michigan themes and I loved it. I was excited to see they sold beer from the Dark Horse Brewery in Marshall-- we are already planning our visit!
