A friend of mine took me on a little tour of the Cranbrook Campus and I was so surprised. I had no idea the area had so much to explore. There are endless hiking paths that wind through beautiful gardens, rivers, and lakes. There is also an Art Museum and Institute of Science. The Institute of Science houses a planetarium and a bat zone with over 150 bats from around the world. Looks like Cranbrook is a great place for both rainy and sunny day exploring. If you are interested the Institute of Science is currently holding an exhibition called World of Dinosaurs, but it closes Labor Day so plan your visit soon!
