Lafayette Coney Island

If you hail from Detroit you understand the rivalry between Lafayette and American Coney Island.  The neighboring Coney Islands are owned by brothers and have been serving hot dogs covered in chili for over 70 years.  I am proud to say that we are strong supporters of Lafayette.  To be honest to the reason, it is only because family members ahead of me are proud Lafayette Coney Island supporters and I have never actually been allowed to step foot in American Coney Island.  Either way, you are always greeted with friendly service and an extremely messy meal at Lafayette.
