Planning . . .

It is slowly feeling less like fall and more like winter.  This morning everything was covered in frost and there is a pumpkin on the front steps that seriously needs to be fed to the squirrels.  This means one thing- - we can shamelessly begin planning for the winter months.

Here are a few things I am dreaming about as the weather gets colder . . .

America's Thanksgiving Day Parade, right here in Detroit, Michigan.

Holiday Nights at Greenfield Village.

Grease at the Fox Theater.

A visit to Mackinac Island  during the winter.

Ice skating at Campus Martius.

Red Wings games- if you are a student check out the super cheap tickets here.

Skiing at Nub's Nob.

Visiting as many of these Michigan microbreweries as possible.

Making a splash here or here.

Holiday pies from Grand Traverse Pie Company.

A visit to Bronner's, the world's largest Christmas store, during the month of December, yes please.
