Ludington State Park was named the #1 State Park in Michigan. We decided to visit the state park this past May, and we agree- it is wonderful!! The park has 5,300 acres for hiking. We hope to make another visit soon, there was so much to see and lots of wildlife to spot.
Right on Lake Michigan with incredible views of the water. The park has something for everyone- from camping, hiking, fishing, and biking.

So many great views, I would love to visit this park during any season. I am thinking our next visit will have to be planned for the fall, oh or maybe on a warm summer day . . .
