May's Events

Thought I would share another image from my current project with you.  I have also compiled a list of festivals and events that will be coming up in the next month.  Hopefully one is close to where you will be.  Enjoy!

The Wharton Center

This weekend we went to see Stomp at the Wharton Center in East Lansing.  I've never been there before, but what a great venue.  If you are interested, Shrek the Musical, Rain, James Taylor, Sarah McLachlan, Chicago, the Celtic Women, and many others will be performing in the upcoming months.  For an entire list of upcoming performances check here.

Michigan State

This Saturday we made a last minute decision and drove over to East Lansing for Michigan State's last home football game.  It was a beautiful day with an exciting Spartan victory, and I was so lucky to have the chance to catch up with some wonderful friends.

I have not had the opportunity to spend much time in East Lansing, but the campus is beautiful and of course there was an outrageous amount of "Sparty Pride"-- what a fun tailgate!  I am hoping we can make another trip in that direction in the near future, maybe when the city is a little less hectic.

Also, I am SO excited for the upcoming week.  On the schedule we have a visit to the DIA, Henry Ford Museum, and most importantly America's Thanksgiving Day Parade.  Thank goodness for some time off from busy life to enjoy Michigan!
