The Dunes

After our ice cream we went for a walk along the beach and ended up climbing one of the dunes.  Another great thing about the beach in Empire, you are easily within walking distance of some great hiking.  I am so glad we climbed one of the dunes because the view from the top was breathtaking.  If we had more time we would have loved to spend an entire day hiking the dunes, but of course there is always next time!
