I love exploring our state's many lighthouses and am always excited when we find one that we have yet to visit. This happened to us last weekend and we stumbled across the Grand Traverse Lighthouse at the Leelanau State Park. The building has been kept in wonderful condition and is located right on a beautiful beach. We were lucky enough to be visiting right as the sun was setting over the water- absolutely beautiful.
