Downtown Petoskey

Here are some pictures from exploring downtown Petoskey.  One of my favorite parts about visiting new towns is window shopping, and Petoskey did not disappoint.  We found lots of little shops with interesting merchandise and restaurants with delicious menus.  And of course the delicious smell of fudge had taken over the entire city!  We were particular fond of all of the silly items in Grandpa Shorter's, where we spent some time reading the joke books and admiring all of the creative knick knacks.

Voting ends September 9th for Detroit' Most Valuable Blogger Award so please vote a few more times in the Local Affairs category here- thank you, thank you!

Petoskey is awesome, I love that little general store. Their selection of bulk candy is tremendous. Looks like a good time to me!
