A few weeks ago we took a completely unexpected 2 day vacation to South Higgins Lake. We had never been to the area before and thought that was the perfect excuse to spend a day lounging in the sun and sitting around a campfire. We stayed at South Higgins campground and could not have been happier. The area was so much fun and I wish we could have stayed a few more days- I guess there is always next time! The beach was beautiful, the water was perfect (I love that it stays shallow so far out), and the company at the campground was wonderful.
