This past weekend we drove down to Hillsdale to see what we could find. We had a wonderful afternoon of exploring the downtown area. I was amazed by how much ice that area of the state got, everything looked like it was coated in sheets of glass and it was absolutely beautiful.
We spent the afternoon window shopping, wondering through antique stores, warming up in a used book store (where I found an awesome section of all Michigan books), and eating homecut french fries at Here's to You Pub and Grub. I loved the quaintness of the town and how friendly everyone was. I wouldn't mind spending many more Saturday afternoons like this.
